750g packet McCain Pub Style Fries
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/3 cups pure cream
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 brown onion, thinly sliced
  • 80g sliced prosciutto, roughly chopped
  • 1/3 cup grated cheddar
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan

Method

1.Preheat oven to 230°C/210°C fan-forced. Grease a 6-cup-capacity baking dish.
2. Place chips in prepared dish. Drizzle with oil. Bake for 10 minutes.
3.Meanwhile, place cream, milk and garlic in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until just heated through. Remove from heat. Season well with salt and pepper.
4.Reduce oven temperature to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Add onion to chips. Toss to combine. Carefully pour warm cream mixture over chips mixture. Cover pan tightly with foil. Bake for 30 minutes or until sauce has thickened.
5.Remove and discard foil. Sprinkle with cheeses and prosciutto. Bake for a further 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden. Stand 10 minutes. Serve.
